This policy applies to all individuals who enter, use, or participate in any activity at Greenfield Lakes Golf Course including the golf course, driving range, Toptracer bays, clubhouse, parking lot, walkways, practice areas, restaurant areas, and any associated facilities. By booking a tee time, purchasing a service, entering the premises, renting equipment, operating a golf cart, consuming alcohol, or participating in any activity on the property, all customers agree to the following terms, responsibilities, and liability
provisions.
Golf Cart Operation, Responsibility, and Damage Liability
All golf carts are provided for the convenience of guests and must be operated in a safe and controlled manner at all times. Only individuals who are at least 18 years of age and who possess a valid driver license may operate a golf cart. Only registered players and authorized riders may ride in a golf cart. A maximum of two passengers is permitted in each cart. Carts must be operated at a safe speed, with full control, and in accordance with all directional signs and staff instructions. Carts may not be driven on greens, tee boxes, restricted turf, landscaped areas, areas marked by ropes or signage, or any section of the property designated as cart restricted. Standing while the cart is in motion, drifting, sharp turning, sudden braking, reckless behavior, and overloading carts are prohibited.
If a cart is damaged due to careless operation, intoxication, violation of rules, improper use, disregard of conditions, collisions, impacts with obstacles, unsafe behavior, or actions a reasonable person would avoid, the customer accepts full financial responsibility for all repairs or replacement. This includes mechanical damage, battery damage, seat or canopy damage, cracked frames, broken windshields, tire damage, or damage to any electronic device such as GPS or Toptracer components. The customer authorizes Greenfield Lakes Golf Course to charge the credit card used for booking or any card presented at check in for the complete cost of such repairs.
Range and Toptracer Facility Rules, Safety, and Damage Responsibility
The driving range and Toptracer bays are operated under strict safety protocols. Only one individual may swing a golf club in a hitting bay at any time. Customers must remain inside the designated hitting areas and may not enter the range field for any reason. Retrieving balls by hand, throwing balls, striking balls outside the designated field, or swinging clubs near other guests is prohibited. Guests must use all equipment, mats, screens, dividers, seating, and tables in a safe and respectful manner.
Customers accept full financial responsibility for any damage caused to range mats, bay
dividers, seating, televisions, Toptracer screens, cameras, lighting, power units, protective netting, ball machines, or any other equipment located in the range or bay areas as a result of misuse, negligence, unsafe conduct, or violation of posted rules. Repairs or replacements will be charged to the payment method used for the tee time or range purchase.
Alcohol Consumption, Safety, and Conduct on Property
Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed if purchased on site through Greenfield Lakes Golf Course or its authorized vendors. Outside alcohol is not permitted and may be confiscated or result in removal from the property. Customers are fully responsible for monitoring their alcohol consumption and maintaining appropriate behavior at all times. Staff may refuse service, revoke cart privileges, restrict play, or remove individuals who appear intoxicated or engage in unsafe or inappropriate behavior.
The customer assumes full liability for any injury, accident, property damage, or incident
occurring while consuming alcohol or acting while intoxicated. No refunds or credits will be provided for removal due to alcohol-related behavior.
Rental Clubs, Damage Responsibility, Theft, and Replacement
Rental clubs are provided for temporary use and must be returned in the same condition as issued. The customer accepts full financial responsibility for any damage, misuse, theft, loss, or alteration of rental equipment. Damage includes but is not limited to broken shafts, dented or cracked club heads, chipped faces, torn or missing grips, bag damage, zipper failure, broken stand legs, or missing accessories such as headcovers, towels, or umbrellas.
If any rental item is not returned, stolen, damaged beyond repair, or lost, the customer authorizes Greenfield Lakes Golf Course to charge the full retail replacement cost of each affected item. Replacement costs are based on new retail value and are not prorated.
General Assumption of Risk on the Course and Property
Golfers and guests acknowledge that golf and recreational activities involve inherent risks including being struck by golf balls, slips, trips, or falls on uneven surfaces, contact with wildlife, exposure to extreme temperatures, errant shots, and natural hazards present on the property. By entering the property and participating in any activity, the customer voluntarily accepts these risks and releases Greenfield Lakes Golf Course from liability associated with them.
Weather, Course Conditions, and Environmental Hazards
Customers are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and discontinuing play if they feel unsafe. Weather risks include lightning, strong winds, extreme temperatures, dust storms, rain, and wet or unstable turf conditions. Greenfield Lakes Golf Course is not liable for injuries caused by natural weather events, environmental hazards, or conditions outside the control of the facility. Refunds or rain checks may be issued at the discretion of management based on operational considerations.
Personal Conduct, Behavior, and Removal From Property
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other customers. Harassment, threats, verbal abuse, property destruction, noncompliance with staff instructions, disorderly behavior, or any conduct that disrupts operations may result in immediate removal from the property without refund. Customers assume full responsibility for damages or consequences resulting from inappropriate behavior.
Children, Minors, and Supervision
Minors must be supervised at all times while on the property. Children may not operate golf carts, enter restricted areas, or swing clubs outside designated locations. Parents and guardians accept full financial and legal responsibility for all actions of minors under their supervision.
Pets and Animals
Pets are not permitted on the golf course, driving range, Toptracer bays, or practice areas unless explicitly approved by management or required by law as service animals. The customer assumes responsibility for any damage, disturbance, or safety concern caused by an animal brought onto the property.
Unauthorized Instruction, Photography, Filming, and Commercial Activity
Professional instruction, coaching, photography, videography, merchandise sales,
promotional events, or commercial activities are not permitted on the property without
written authorization from management. Unauthorized instructors or commercial
operators may be removed from the premises. Customers may be held responsible for any disruptions or damages caused by unapproved activity.
Surveillance and Security Acknowledgment
Greenfield Lakes Golf Course utilizes security cameras and monitoring systems throughout various facilities including the clubhouse, parking lot, range, and bay areas. By entering the property, customers consent to video and audio monitoring for the purposes of safety, security, operations, and liability protection. Tampering with surveillance equipment is grounds for removal and may result in legal action.
Lost, Stolen, or Unattended Items
Greenfield Lakes Golf Course is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal
items on any part of the property. Customers are responsible for securing valuables in their possession and accept all risk of loss.
Indemnification Agreement
The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greenfield Lakes Golf Course, its owners, management, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from all claims, damages, legal actions, losses, liabilities, injuries, or expenses arising from their behavior, negligence, alcohol consumption, misuse of equipment, violation of policies, or participation in activities on the property.
Comprehensive Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer releases Greenfield Lakes Golf Course from all liability for injury, damage, or loss resulting from golf activities, cart operation, range use, rental equipment, alcohol consumption, weather events, presence on the property, or the actions of other guests, whether caused by negligence or natural conditions.
Acknowledgment of Terms
By booking a tee time, paying a fee, renting a golf cart, purchasing a range bucket, using the Toptracer bays, renting equipment, consuming alcohol, entering the property, or participating in any activity at Greenfield Lakes Golf Course, the customer acknowledges reading and agreeing to all terms in this policy and accepts full responsibility for their actions, personal safety, conduct, and any damages they cause while on the premises.
